| The GATSBY Styling Dance Contest Singapore Finals 2010/2011 was held in Far East Plaza with 8 of the best student dancers competing to see who would become Singapore's number 1 student dancer. |

| Following the Prelims held in December earlier, the 8 teams knew that 1 more win would get them the coveted prize-an all-expenses paid trip to Tokyo to compete in the GATSBY Styling Dance Contest Asian Finals. |

| The Finals this year was arguably made more special with the presence of guest judge Charisma Kantaro-creator of Dance@Live and leader of House team Xyon. Indeed, each of the 4 judges, Kantaro, Gin, Ben and Farhan performed a special individual showcase before the start of the Finals, exciting the crowd and raising the noise level several decibels.

| Buoyed by the presence of a massive crowd, the 8 teams put up a tremendous display which wowed all those watching, and presented the 4 judges with a pleasant dilemma on who to win the ultimate prize- the Greatest GATSBY Award.
To top off the fantastic afternoon, the winners of last year's contest, The Basic Fives, performed a pulsating guest showcase, providing a fitting end to a great day of events. |

 There had to be one winner in the end, and the Greatest GATSBY Award went to We Want Funk-a locking crew that provided several humorous moments with their antics combined with excellent technique during their performance.
We'd like to express our thanks to all the teams that joined and certainly hope that this experience will remain in the hearts of all competitors! See you next year for GATSBY Styling Dance Contest 2011/2012! |
